My Family has been affected by Epilepsy as my daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of 16. I have spent years dealing with the emotional and physical side effects of Epilepsy such as, in and out of hospital with my daughter, she missed milestones, standing by as she had numerous test, various medication, doctors appointments and seeing specialist. It has been exhausting for our whole family as we had to adjust financially and educate ourselves on Epilepsy as not much information was available. I would've been lost without the epilepsy foundation and it gives me chills to think so many other individuals and families are going through this.

I've decided to help the Epilepsy Foundation make a huge difference for the 1 in 25 people whose lives are affected by epilepsy. This is my first year trying to raise money on Purple Day, But I have always advocated about Epilepsy and I hope this will help educate others on this terrible disease.

Let's give those who are living with epilepsy the chance of a better life.
