Have you ever seen a seizure? Viewer discretion is advised

The videos below were kindly provided by Nicole, mum to 14-year-old Jack, with both hers and her son’s permissions. She wants you to see her beautiful son as he is normally, loving and living every day to its full potential (Video 1). Then what happens to Jack during a seizure (Video 2) and his postictal resting state (Video 3).

The videos are confronting and distressing. They also help to breakdown the stigma of seizures.

Jack loves sports and the great outdoors

No aura, no signs, no symptoms, Jack deals with violent uncontrolled seizures.

WARNING: Distressing content.

Finally, after what feels like an eternity, Jack recovers slowly from the seizure.

Seeing someone you love having a seizure can be distressing. Nicole knows this will happen to her son Jack. She knows she’ll get a call from her stepdad, letting her know her mum’s had another seizure.
