Kailah Louise May

Our family is deeply saddened by losing my cousin Kailah to epilepsy at just 19 years of age.

After going for a swim in her pool on a hot Darwin day she had a seizure and sadly drowned. She was found hours later by her younger brother Marley and mother Tara, face down in the water but they were to late and she was unable to be revived.

Epileptic seizures effected Kailahs life immensely and those around her.

This weekend I’ll be wearing these special football boots in honour of Kailah, her immediate family and her indigenous background in hope of raising some money and awareness for a cause that needs attention.

With the assistance of Epilepsy Foundation Australia we have set up this donations page. For every donation over $20 you will go in the running to receive these incredible match worn boots that will be signed after Hawthorn’s game against the Gold Coast Suns. 100% of the proceeds will go to EFA to help those out there battling epilepsy.

 RIP Kailah
