Our college, West Residence of the University of Newcastle is coming together to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation. This event is purposeful to raise money and awareness for Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), which affects more than 1 out of 1000 people with epilepsy each year. This occurs with no explanation, tragically impacting the lives of loved ones.
The money we raise will go towards researching the causes and ways to prevent SUDEP and providing bereavement support services to families affected by SUDEP.
