I'm fundraising for...everyone whose life has been turned upside down by epilepsy.

Days after his 18th birthday and the death of his beloved grand-mother, our son Thomas had his first seizure at work.  He was a carpentry apprentice working on a roof truss of a new build.
We did not know Thomas had epilepsy, he was subsequently diagnosed with Idopathic generalised epilepsy after a week in hospital and numerous tests.
Thomas had just reached the time of his life, however his life after school has been disrupted with licence loss or restrictions, limitations on work and daily medication.
However, we know Thomas is one of the lucky ones, his epilepsy is not as severe as others we have met or know.  With daily medication Thomas should be able to "manage" his epilepsy.
I'm doing this to raise awareness about epilepsy and through my arms around everyone else I know that has to live with this.
